How Business Clients
Benefit from Online Accounting
Online solutions
provide a new level of freedom for the
business owner
|

In last month's issue
there was a PDN article (Easy Collaboration
with Clients) on the benefits of online
accounting for the accountant. But
accountants aren't the only ones that
benefit. Client businesses also greatly
benefit, and in many cases, online
accounting solves business problems for
which there is no other cost-effective
solution available.
e-Accounting’s online solutions provide a
new level of freedom for the business owner
through greater flexibility in accessing
financial records at any time and from any
location. Rather than reviewing the books at
the office at night, owners can now review
and analyze their financial data whenever
they need to from any location. From home,
while on business trips, or while on
vactaion, the owner is not tied to a local
network or a single location to access the
accounting data.
Consolidations are automatic when all
locations or business units report under a
single system. e-Accounting allows
businesses with multiple locations or
business units to keep a single set of
real-time books. For small businesses,
creating a wide-area network is usually too
expensive to implement and maintain, causing
many companies to keep multiple sets of
accounting applications, databases, and
computers to house them. Consolidating those
separate sets of books into a single,
comprehensive organization reporting system
is time consuming and can introduce
inaccuracies through re-keying of data.
