Online technologies and remote access among hot topics

As an exhibitor at the June 2004 California Accounting and Business Show,
e-Accounting representatives talked to hundreds of professionals.

"Oh, you're
e-Accounting," said one attendee who had just heard a speaker highlighting trends in CPA technology. "I need to talk to you!"

In one session, Gregory LaFollette, Executive Editor of the CPA Technology Advisor magazine, outlined what accountants need to do to make their CPA technology more productive and client-friendly. His recommendations included adopting online solutions.

David Primes, a shareholder for Sobul, Primes, & Schenkel of Los Angeles, CA, explained why CPAs need new tools to work remotely from home, in the client's office, or on the road. One point was on putting technology to work to allow remote access and how it inherently improves your practice and your quality of life.

e-Accounting feels at home in this environment, as we secure online solutions that enable anytime-anyplace access, client-friendly service, a more stress-free work dynamic, and increased productivity and growth.

Fact sheets written for business-client audience
now available with co-brand option

Accounting professionals who want to attract new clients and/or persuade existing clients of the advantages of using e-Accounting for QuickBooks or other applications have a new marketing piece to distribute. E-Accounting's popular fact sheets now include one with specific relevance for the business client and outlines the benefits that such clients can derive.

In addition, firms have the option of co-branding the fact sheet so that their logo is displayed and benefits are written with the firm's services highlighted.

Many firms report that e-Accounting is a great selling tool to attract new business and grow their practices because of the ease of serving clients and affordability of managing
IT resources. Firms also need fresh ways to persuade existing clients to begin using the online working model.

These new fact sheets help a firm reach both these objectives.
